Massage is important: it can relieve aches and pains, reduce stress, improve suppleness and range of motion, and promote bonding and connection between people through touch and physical contact.
Our massage bars are made from just cocoa butter and sweet almond oil blended with pure essential oils chosen for specific types of massage. They're solid at room temperature, so there's no bottle of oil to be kicked over and make a greasy mess (not relaxing at all) and the oil is already warmed before it goes onto the skin.
Rather than pressing the bar itself against the skin, we recommend that
you rub the bar between your hands, to loosen the oil, then put the bar
down and massage the oils on your hands into the skin. The bar will reset
on a saucer and you just repeat the process as often as you need, never
wasting any oil.

We have a bit of an Oomilegs range, as we also do it as a
soap and a sherbet, but that's only because it's such an excellent
blend of essential oils for sore muscles and joints.
Eucalyptus and lemongrass essential
oils help to warm up sore and aching muscles, while black
pepper and lime oils are used by aromatherapists
to help loosen stiff joints. Great if you've run a marathon, spent
a day in the garden or an afternoon in the park with the kids. |

Sometimes massage is perfect for less pragmatic reasons than simply sore muscles or feeling stressed. Sometimes it's just great as part of a romantic night: candles, Barry White playing in the background, a good bottle of wine ... we know you know what we mean.
Oomissus is a blend of essential oils known for their 'stimulating'
properties. Ylang-ylang, patchouli,
vetiver and sandalwood make up
